LA Mockeboards

Well...I failed. Ha! Yet still an educational experience. I'm truthfully, not trying to make myself feel better, kinda happy with the outcome. Yes, I went in hoping to pass, but when I didn't, the instructors were able to let me know about things I did that would fail me in the real thing. So now I know what to watch for! The sad thing about not passing the IA the second time around was that I totally grabbed the front of the card! What a bad mistake to make in the real board. You don't want to fail for something like that.

So now I feel ready.

My afternoon pt came and then dissappeared...so, I started a guy who was out in the lobby waiting for his wife, who Kelly cleaned. He was really nice, but the best thing was that he needed LA, so I was able to do the IA again. Big tip of the day! Just move the syringe to the corner of their mouth. Just rest it on the corner. That way you'll be sure to be over the premolars!

So that was a good day, one thing that made it good after clinic was I stopped by Wal-mart to buy scooby snacks (Grhams that look like dog bones), but they didn't have any, so I got bugs instead. Although they look different, they taste the same, and at my age, that's all that really matters! :)
